As a Minnesota native, I will always have a special place in my heart for the snow. For those bitter cold days wrapped in scarves, and hats, and boots, and gloves, and whatever else I can put on. For those vast white clouds in the sky heavy with snow that's just-about-to-fall. For the silence that is audible after a fresh snow fall. For the flakes landing gently on your nose. For the feeling of "newness" and fresh starts.
While I was on vacation in Minnesota my brother and sister-in-law ventured out into the winter wonderland with me for a romantic, snowy couples session. I shot this as a mix of digital and film and I feel like I can't even take a little bit of credit for this session because just LOOK at these two. Adorable.
